The movie Precious.
Before I start this movie I have my own opinion towards it.
WARNING: This may include spoilers and may offended you in certain ways. Your opinion is your own and so is mine. You don't want me to judge your opinion so don't judge mine, thank you.
I first saw the previews and thought it'd horrible.
Then My best friend Amanda goes and tells me about the story.
Says she get's raped by her dad. Has a kid.
Her mum is selfish and feeds her till she's fat so she wont get raped anymore.
She get's raped again. Blames it on the dad and her. She's a selfish whore.
Her child has down syndrome.
During the movie.
There are rape scenes. And her mother abusing her. Both very horrible.
During her school this girl calls her fat and she beats her ass :P
Then Nicola's mum goes...
"The is one fat father fucker" -Nicola's mum
"She got raped by her dad." -me
Nik's mum has a blank look on her face
"she was raped twice, that's why she's fat" -me continued...
It's very sad and way more serious then I thought it would be. I seriously thought that I would sit here and laugh. But that's Nicola's mum doing.
Precious's mum is horrible. She keeps telling her she cant learn and she is worthless and cant do anything. She makes her eat shit that is horrible.
"my mother is like a whale on a couch, she makes me eat all the time calling me a fat whore"
"she watches TV, eats, Watches tv and eats again. Can we talk about something else now"
both quotes from her being forced to go to welfare.
They fake the child living there for welfare. So the mother can get all the food and things she wants for nothing. Precious is pregnant again. Her grandmother doesn't even like the mother.

I don't disagree at all... not at all..
CJ and I then almost cried because when she came home her mum said exactly what we predicted "Where you been?" and then she goes and fights with her and almost kills the baby with a TV.
This movie is very predictable but that doesn't mean it isn't as heart filled. It makes me want to tell my mum that I love her. Which I do. I really do. My mother has never been like that and would never be like that.
but it made me laugh when the mother goes. "You gunna come home?" After she is told she could have aids from her father. :(
Now think about this.

Your mother then decided to make you fat because she didn't want to have your father have sex with you anymore cause she thinks YOU'RE being selfish.

I have just finished the movie. And trying not to cry and convince CJ it wasn't a real story when in fact it could be a real story. But I didn't want her to think about it so she wouldn't have to cry so much.
This movie is not ridiculous. I have heard shit like this happening to people. It's horrible. I ow disagree with Amanda about this movie. If you want something sad. Watch this. It's crazy.

I think laughter and happiness is the most powerful of emotions. I think Love is something that is a stronger feeling of being happy but I don't consider it as powerful. People under estimate the power of happiness and laughter that they cant see that it is so easy to get someone else to do it. Unless you are absolutely depressed or something.
